TRIBE is a gathering of creatives to network and mingle during the famous Round Top Antique Fair. Meet selected makers and entrepreneurs being featured in upcoming 2016 editions of Where Women Create, Where Women Cook, and Where Women Create Business, as well as Editor-in-Chief, Jo Packham. This mixer is free to attend and will be held during the 2016 Spring Antique Fair in Round Top, Texas. Please join us Tuesday March 29, 2016, at Zapp Hall from 3:00-5:00 pm, for delicious bites and beverages and to meet the participating featured artists/entrepreneurs. WWC magazines will be on hand to be signed.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE EVENT:
Jo Packham is the creator/Editor-in-Chief of WHERE WOMEN CREATE - Inspiring Work Spaces of Extraordinary Women; WHERE WOMEN COOK - The Heart & Soul of Cooking; and WHERE WOMEN CREATE BUSINESS - A Passion for Success. She's been a leading innovator in the handmade publishing market for more than 30 years and has worked tirelessly to spotlight inspiring creative entrepreneurs. She's been a fan and has attended the Round Top Antique Fair for many years and is excited to be joining forces to bring this event to you.
Paige and Smoot Hull are the owners/designers of THE VINTAGE ROUND TOP - a lodging, lifestyle and decor business based in Round Top, Texas. The vacation home rental they created was the muse for their lifestyle brand of handmade candles, soaps and textile bags/pillows. They also sell antiques and have a custom hotel amenity line. Their "Modern Vintage" style has been featured in numerous local, national, and international publications as well as design books. The couple are being featured in the April 2016 issue of Where Women Create Business. They, along with Jo, are producing this inspiring networking opportunity.
THE PLACE:
Zapp Hall, located off of Hwy 237 in Warrenton,Texas is a beloved show site during the famous Round Top Antique Fair. It offers antiques, fabulous food, live music, dancing and the famous Junk Gypsy Prom. The show's motto is "Come for the antiques, stay for the atmosphere," and quite an atmosphere it is. They have a wide variety of vendors for everyone's taste and provide a festive tone and soul that is uplifting and inspiring.
