FALL WORKSHOP PANELIST: ASHLEIGH AMOROSO
Paige Hull
Ashleigh Amoroso, Austin based food stylist, educator and photographer, will be heading up one of the break-out sessions during our upcoming Fall Workshop. This woman is amazing; from her delicious food shots to the travel photography that captivates her Instagram feed to the soulful lifestyle and fashion shots, there is nothing she can’t capture. She is drawn to the freedom of photography and the life it allows her to lead; full of travels with her husband and less rigidity than a typical corporate gig.
She moved to Austin 10 years ago and found her place among fellow foodies. Drawing inspiration from other's love of food, as well as her own, she feels she is right where she should be. Ashleigh loves becoming immersed in a project, cookbooks especially, learning all about other cuisines and cultures and aspires to shoot more around the world.
What drew us to Ashleigh was her passion for teaching others her craft and the ability to see the uniqueness in every shot. Our hope is that everyone in attendance at the workshop will walk away with a little bit of her magic.
In the break-out session lead by Ashleigh, you will learn how to style photos and then actually shoot what you style. The technology and quality of camera phones these days allows almost anyone to take a professional shot with their trusty iPhone. You just need to know how, and that’s where Ashleigh comes in!
The most amazing aspect of these smaller sessions is the opportunity to ask questions as you go and really get a feel for the process; get comfortable with it. I know we all look at some Instagram feeds and wonder “how in the heck did they get that shot” or “how do you get the background to be blurry” and “how can I do that?!?” So, here is your chance to, literally, to learn from the pro.
Ashleigh’s previous clients read like a who’s who of contemporary brands, including Vitamix, Sephora, Urban Outfitters, TBS, Noosa and Target. Seriously, she knows her way around a lens! Do not miss this opportunity to learn from one of the best, grab your ticket now before they are sold out!
