FALL WORKSHOP PANELIST: MARIA LICHTY
Paige Hull
Maria Lichty is an unstoppable force. Along with her husband Josh, they write the popular food blog Two Peas and Their Pod. She is also the co-founder of Sweat Peas Meals, a meal planning subscription service. Together they raise their two young boys in Utah while making everyone drool over their delicious recipes!
What started as a project for family and friends, posting the recipes from their wedding (that they catered themselves) turned into the epicurean resource that it is today. Maria has a passion for helping families get meals on the table by giving them the tools to shop, prep and cook easier and that desire helped launch Sweat Peas Meals, her latest endeavor. Not only does she help get dinner on the table, she adds a little green in there, too. Her zucchini brownies are hands down, the best!

Maria has mastered social media – seemingly all of them. With a notable Pinterest following, significant Facebook presence and almost 160k followers on Instagram, she is killing it. All of her feeds seamlessly integrate into one other, all while keeping the content fresh and engaging, no easy feat! Speaking from experience, I know keeping all of the separate social channels at the forefront is hard and I am eager to hear how this multi-talented mama does it!
In our Fall Workshop, Maria will participate in the morning panel moderated by Smoot and I, alongside Anissa Zajac, of House Seven Design. We will explore all that makes these women such a hit. How they plan their social strategy, their favorite resources and their most treasured advice.
You can feel her passion and dedication through her images and words – which she treats like a conversation with her followers, it is relaxed, comfortable, candid, and incredibly relatable. Whether she is posting new recipes or keeping us captivated with her Instagram stories and blog features, Maria knows how to make and keep loyal followers. One of the many skills we will touch on during the morning panel discussion.
The recipes she features and photographs are amazing. Her blog is a breath of fresh air, it is positive, healthy and downright yummy. She offices out of their home, which they built from the ground up and documented on their blog. She and Josh have a weekly list of 10 things they are loving, seeing or doing called "This and That"; I always appreciate husband and wife team, especially learning from them - what works and what doesn't.
We are so excited to have her joining us! Grab your ticket before they are all gone!
