Happy Thanksgiving!
Paige Hull
Thinking back on 2016, what stands out are the hardships we've faced. From our home flooding to several family injuries, 2016 has been one of the hardest years on our family. This is why I wanted to sit down and think about all the things I'm thankful for. It can be easy to get caught up in the difficulties we've faced this year, but in reality we are still so blessed.
List-making is something that I've always done. I'm a visual person, so the physical act of writing out a list makes ideas seem more concrete and tangible. Not only that, but the physical act of writing helps me remember and keeps me focused. Normally, I'm writing down a list of goals, to-do lists, and grocery lists, but I think it's also important to write out lists of things I'm thankful for or things that make me happy. Lists keep us focused on our goals, but also are a reminder of what's most important in our lives.
We found inspiration on Pinterest of paper place mats that give you and your guests an opportunity to list what they are thankful for. We absolutely love the simplistic look and wanted to share the idea with you.
Today is a day I will dwell on the good things in life, and I encourage you to do the same. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!
