Inside the Tribe No. 04
Paige Hull
I can't begin to express how grateful we are to get to do what we love, but more importantly to do it with a TRIBE of people that we really connect with, that inspires our creativity, and that makes us happy. "Inside the Tribe" is a glimpse into the lives of the sponsors, artisans and entrepreneurs that are a part of and available to meet at TRIBE in Round Top, Texas on March 29, 2016. See detailed info here.
Natalie Dawley and Monica Pope
One of the many great things about Round Top is that it is in such close proximity to both Austin and Houston. This next post is focusing on 2 city gals who are making their mark on the entrepreneurial world with their unique business ideas.
Natalie Dawley - Two Be Wed
Your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life, right? Unfortunately, many brides might also refer to their big day as the most stressful day of their life. That's where Natalie Dawley comes in. She started Two Be Wed to help alleviate the undeniable pressure that comes along with wedding planning. From the overall design concept, to consulting and more, Two Be Wed is a Houston based business that does it all. They can be as involved as you would like them to be, offering something for everyone. Two Be Wed offers more than services, they provide the complete wedding experience, by turning your dreams into reality. Calling all future brides, come meet Natalie at TRIBE!
Chef Monica Pope - Sparrow Bar + Cookshop
In the past the "farm to table" concept was necessary for survival. As time went on, we as a society turned to artificial, processed foods, but luckily Chef Monica Pope is helping us find our way back. Born in Germany, but raised in Texas, Monica's Czech grandmother is the one that first taught her to cook. In 1992 she opened her first restaurant in Houston, and the rest is history! Today, Monica continues to share her love of fresh, local food with the public, by connecting farmers and consumers. With a plethora of awards and recognitions under her belt, Monica is a force to be reckoned with, she even competed on the second season of Top Chef Masters on Bravo. She has also gained much national attention, and was invited to "the White House for the launch of Michelle Obama's Chefs Move to Schools initiative." Mix and mingle with Monica at TRIBE!
Monica is collaborating with TRIBE sponsor Recycling the Past during Antiques Week. From Thursday - Saturday she will be set up at Matt's new location, featuring grab and go lunch, cookshop goods and Pop-Up Suppers.
