Inside the Tribe No. 05
Paige Hull
I can't begin to express how grateful we are to get to do what we love, but more importantly to do it with a TRIBE of people that we really connect with, that inspires our creativity, and that makes us happy. "Inside the Tribe" is a glimpse into the lives of the sponsors, artisans and entrepreneurs that are a part of and available to meet at TRIBE in Round Top, Texas on March 29, 2016. See detailed info here.
This post is focusing on three talented ladies from the Austin, Texas area: Bex Hale, Sarah Thompson and Sandra Evertson.
Bex Hale - Relics Home/Relics Ranch
A West Coast gal turned Texan, designer Bex Hale is no stranger to hard work. She created Relics Home, a showroom and retail store in Wimberley that's a whopping 12,000 square feet, with everything from fine furnishings to lighting and home décor. It's a true paradise for anyone who appreciates good design. Even if you want something custom, Relics in-house designers have you covered! They offer assistance with everything from interior design to remodeling. Now that you've redecorated your entire home, you might be in need of a little relaxation. Well guess what, Bex also owns Relics Ranch, a private retreat with the perfect amount of hill country charm, allowing you to get up close and personal with Mother Nature. If you think she looks familiar, that might be because she was on season 7 of HGTV Design Star. Come out to TRIBE and see what Bex is up to next!
Sarah Thompson - Crafty Western
Corporate America by day, and a talented artist by night, Sarah Thompson has found a unique way to merge her life-long love for music with quick-drying acrylics. Her passion for country and western music legends is evident in all of her one-of-a-kind painted pieces. Sarah puts a unique spin on her work, sometimes showcasing music icons like Johnny Cash or Hank Williams with a little Day of the Dead flair. Every now and then she will also incorporate text in the form of lyrics to her works of art. As an artist who is "largely self taught," she is a true talent. This city gal also creates unique jewelry and spends time decorating spaces, in addition to being a full time wife and mother. Come be inspired by Sarah at TRIBE!
Sandra Evertson - Relics & Artifacts
Author, designer, artist and self-proclaimed "professional day dreamer," Sandra Evertson loves to collect, in fact that's how her business Relics & Artifacts first got started. She finds inspiration in rearranging and discovering new pieces. Prior to planting permanent roots in Austin, Sandra spent time in Los Angeles, exploring life and a little bit of everything, including modeling, acting and traveling. Today, she creates unique Matte Resin Craft Blanks that become the perfect template for anyone who wants to explore their creative side, allowing you to truly personalize the décor in your home. Paint, stamps, chalk, etc. can all be used to bring these pieces to life. If that were not enough, Sandra also is a contributor to Where Women Create. Come chat with Sandra about her life adventures at TRIBE!
