LAS VEGAS MARKET
Paige Hull
With all of our constant change lately, it feels like we just got back from Las Vegas a few days ago! We had the privilege of speaking on a panel about all things Vintage along side some of our RTTX friends and some new faces. The panel was moderated by Katie and Lorie from the Round Top Register. Tikaa, of Totally Tikaa and Courtney, of French Country Cottage rounded out the group. We had a blast!
Sharing our passion for what we do is one of our favorite things. Both Smoot and I truly feel we are blessed to do this for a living and being able to share what we've learned along the way seems only logical. We spoke about how we got our start, how we promote our business and what we like best about working together. It was also valuable experience for our upcoming workshop and Katie and Lorie make it look easy!
In addition to participating in the panel, we also participated in an Instagram takeover for the Las Vegas Market. We got to scour the show for our favorite pieces.
While walking the show we ran into some new and old friends.
The Novogratz were at the Market debuting their line with Amazon. Robert and Courtney were so gracious and we connected on all things kids, family and home design. Looking forward to seeing them again!
We caught up with Brady Tolbert at his panel.
Ran in to Lauren and James Williams on our way out!
Funny story and blast from the past - Kristin, the amazing talented creative behind Spitfire girl, actually worked for Smoot a few lifetimes ago in his restaurant Empire Cafe! We ran into them at the Luxe Interiors + Design event held at the Wynn Hotel!
The Aesthetic Movement booth greeted us on the way in and we kept going back. We found Smoot's favorite chair and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jesse James (amazing name, by the way).
Attending the reStyle Best of the West Wine event was so fun! We met a few amazing ladies:
Photographer Alyssa Rosenheck + Kistin Alber of reStyle + Jeni Maus of Found Rentals
Smoot and I had a chance to see the Cirque du Soleil show about the Beatles's called LOVE. It was beyond amazing!!!! Different than the other Cirque shows we've seen, but definitely one of our favorites. It was filled with nostalgia, artistry and beauty. We highly recommned it!
All in all, Vegas was such a soul renewing experience. The ability to connect with other people that speak your language and get excited about good design fills our hearts. We walked away from the 4 days refreshed and ready to tackle our to-do list with vigor and fresh eyes!
Till next time Vegas!
