LIMEADE AND YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
Paige Hull
We're blessed to have so many close friends in Round Top. One of those amazing couples are the Palacios' whom we've known, dare I say, since the 80's.
The Round Top Fourth of July parade goes by their front door. Knowing we have two young entrepreneurs, they invited Pierce and Eisley to set up a limeade stand the day of the parade. It was a huge hit! They both worked hard and made extra spending money to bring on our vacation we were leaving for the very next day.
With temperatures soaring, there's nothing better than fresh squeezed limeade! We've included our simple recipe below. Even though it takes a little bit of effort to squeeze enough limes to get the juice, it's so worth it!
Fresh Limeade
Makes 6 cups
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup lime juice
5 cups water
Directions
Combine sugar, lime juice, & water.
Stir vigorously to dissolve sugar completely.
Garnish with a few slices of lime.
