SIMPLE COUNTRY PLEASURES: THE SCENT OF ROSEMARY

The intoxicating scent of rosemary greets me as I brush past it going up the steps at The Vintage Round Top. They say our sense of smell is our strongest sense associated with memory, and for me, the smell of rosemary will always mean it’s time to slow down and unwind. Sometimes, I cut a few sprigs for the bedside just to remind me to relax.
