THE VINTAGE ROUND TOP EVENT SPACE

As most of you know, it took a while for the Boho cottage to be built. We opened our doors during the Spring 2017 Antique Show with our Business, Branding & Social Media Workshop as the first event and Emily Henderson's crew as our first guests.
Our intention for the cottage, with it's 900 sq. ft. Great Room, was for it to not only be used as lodging, but also as an intimate gathering place. We envisioned it as a space for renewal and celebrations with events like corporate retreats, intimate rehearsal dinners, brand launches, family reunions, photo/video shoots, workshops, and more.

We're thrilled Boho has already been the backdrop to several wonderful gatherings within the first month it's been open. In addition to our own workshop, Emily Henderson held a staff retreat and Tara Royer held the Brave Girls Gathering with us as well.
We designed Boho to connect to the adjoining (original) cottage, now called No. 1450. We wanted the two cottages to share common design elements, but for each cottage to have it's own personality. As you know, we love mixing modern and vintage styles, but we also wanted the new cottage to be very adaptable. With this in mind, the Boho is more of a blank canvas which allows guests to make the space their own.
It has been great watching our three inagural events make the space fit their brand and specific event needs. Also, the fact we can now join the two cottages together creates numerous meeting and photo backdrop opportunities, plus we can now sleep up to 15 people!
Emily's group used the white walls and vintage furniture pieces to shoot merchandise they bought in from the Antique Show to be sold on Chairish. They also used the space for meetings and to hang out and have fun after long days of work.

Mixing the existing decor with her own, Tara created the Brave Girls aesthetic to make the retreat feel like home. The ladies used the Boho Great Room as a meeting place to dive into the soul restoration course together, they gathered in the No. 1450 dining room for communal meals, and retreated back to their bedrooms for restful slumber.

We've already seen the No. 1450 cottage used for workshops, retreats, photoshoots, and as a bridal suite (see photos below). We're so excited our vision for the property is becoming a reality and that the Boho event space is expanding our ability to host even more events!
