VINTAGE METAL SIGN

As long as we can remember, we've always had a thing for numeric typography. It has always spoken to us from the very beginning when we first started with the various ways we've incorporated numbers into the decor of No. 1450 cottage. I think it's such a cool aspect in design, and it continues to catch our eye, especially with authentic pieces like this vintage metal sign.

This sign could have been an old house number, distinguishing one French home from another. It's similar to the French Metal Route Militaire Sign we wrote a feature about a couple weeks ago. We found it in the same French town of Marseilles and it holds similar stories. You can read more about our story of finding these truly authentic French pieces here.

We actually have a similar piece hanging in Boho's Master Bedroom right now. I love the unique accent it adds to the room, not only with the color and vintage feel, but also with the bold typography.
