As we enjoy clear blue skies and fabulous shopping here in Round Top, it is juxtaposed to the heaviness of the unprecedented levels of destruction our friends, loved ones, and strangers are dealing with from the recent devastating hurricanes.
Under the blue skies in Texas at the opening of Blue Hills Fall 24 show, celebrating their seven new barns.
Our hearts are shattered watching it all unfold as we personally know the trauma of experiencing repeated storms with three floods in our Houston home in 2016/2017. The thing I remember the most from that experience was the outpouring of help and support after each one and how much it meant to have both loved ones and strangers come to our aid.

The timing of these storms has put the joy of sharing all the beautiful treasures and experiences offered here in Round Top during the show in contrast to the sorrow of those who’ve lost their homes, belongings, or loved ones.
It’s also given an opportunity to share the resources and ways we all can come together to help those affected know they’re not forgotten or alone in the daunting process of rebuilding their lives after immense tragedy.
