LOOT VINTAGE + RVT COLLABORATION
Paige Hull
What began as an email out of the blue ended as an experience we won’t soon forget. Anna and Rhoda from Loot Vintage Rentals are two unique and creative ladies that had an idea that they ran with and the results were stunning. Just goes to show you, it never hurts to ask and go after what you want!
Loot was doing a takeover on EBTH (Everything But the House)’s Instagram during the Fall Show and they wanted to kick things off with a welcome dinner, all they needed was a space. Enter The Vintage Round Top.
It was a tornado of creativity. They were hanging things from the Boho beams, bringing in vintage rugs and pillows, replacing our dining table with an ever-so-chic low table where we all would gather and sit amongst the poufs and pillows. In a matter of hours they had transformed the Boho great room into an ethereal vision of natural elements and killer vintage pieces. They speak our language.
The food. Oh the food. It was so delicious. Le Pera, out of Austin, was so, so good. They specialize in Latin and Interior Mexican and they did not disappoint. It was the perfect addition to the evening. It set the tone for what was to come. Sharing a meal with people you admire and witnessing the connections begin to grow and take shape is so magical.
Natalie Yerkovich, @natalieloretta, documented the evening. The unique shots and perspective she gave the event were exceptional, as you can see. All the images in this post are hers.
Once we devoured our meals and the conversations were effortlessly rolling between where to find the best vintage pieces and how to make the work life balance work, our senses received another treat.
The Canvas People serenaded us into the night. Acoustic, perfect and full of soul, it ended the evening as only live music can. It allowed us all to pause and take in the moment.
The talented chefs and musicians were all booked by Foster ATX, a cool new business out of Austin that curates intimate concerts, pop up dinners in unique spaces.
We cannot say enough about this collective of new friends and fellow creatives. We are forever grateful for the opportunities our cottages have opened up for us. One thing is for certain, we have found our people and we cannot wait for what is next.
