MODERN VINTAGE STYLE - TRAVEL JOURNAL
Paige Hull
We're heading to the beach in just a few short weeks for 10 days of relaxation! After the year we've had, I am ready to slow down and enjoy some quality time with my family.
Early on, Smoot and I decided we wanted to provide our kids with travel and experiences over material goods. We really value traveling to new places and experiencing new things and wanted to instill that in our kids as well.
When the kids were younger, we started the tradition of giving them travel journals on trips so they could have a record of their time. Especially when they were little, we wanted them to be able to look back and remember their feelings and thoughts about the places we visited. Sadly, those journals were destroyed in the flood. But, we not our photos or our memories.
We still continue this tradition today as part of our motto of Living with Intention. We want to try to be present and soak in as much of these moments as possible. So we've got a new round of travel journals for our getaway to the Riviera Maya and can't wait to see what fills the pages!
