THE AMERICAN DREAM

We're so thankful to live in the USA and for all the men and women that have and still do protect our freedom. We love this first image - our flag is such a majestic site!

The 4th of July celebration in Round Top, Texas is like going back in time. We first experienced it three years ago (even though I'd been coming to Round Top to shop for over fifteen years). It brought tears to my eyes and still does! The roads are lined with thousands of people - families, and friends. Flags in their hands, pride in their heart. A love of country is what we all have in common.  

This is our family on Royer's porch after the first parade we saw three years ago.  

This is our clan just last year. We enjoyed hosting our good friends to experience it for themselves. They loved it as much as we did! We watched the parade, ate at Royer's, painted rocks, and visited the DFW bridge.  

Round Top has allowed us to share experiences with our children that we might not have been able to otherwise. Small towns, big celebrations, lifetime memories, and thankful hearts! I guess that sums it up!
