Kim Lewis Design Feature
Paige Hull
Big things come in small packages!!!
That’s for sure in the case of Kim Lewis, who is tiny in person but mighty in her spirit, talent, and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Kim’s business, Kim Lewis Designs, is made up of equally wonderful and talented women, plus her husband, Joey Puterbaugh, who assists with her popular YouTube channel filming through his company, Swim Call Media.
Kim worked with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for six years, designs both personal and commercial projects, is a writer, motivational speaker and has been featured on ABC, HGTV, TLC, National Geographic, FYI's "Tiny House Nation", House Beautiful, Domino, Forbe’s, People, InStyle, Apartment Therapy, just to name a few.
She cares deeply for others and saw how truly design CAN change lives. So in 2013 she partnered with Touch A Life in Ghana, West Africa to build a therapeutic art center for children, and volunteered to design two art centers in Cambodia for Rapha House.
So, you can see why I was so thrilled when they contacted me to highlight The Vintage Round Top on her show and to host their team’s lodging during the Round Top Antique Show.
We’ve added the link below and talk about how we created the Boho cottage floors, give a quick tour of all the Boho rooms along with a few design decisions and details about the overall build and of course, talk about the Round Top Antique Show.
We hope you’ll take a moment to watch and fall in love with Kim, just the way we did!
The show must go on!
There was a slight technical difficulty with the mic, so we ended up using our phones as microphones as you’ll see in the video. Who knew you could do that?!? Regardless, we had such a fun time filming and gabbing about our favorite topics together.
