I think we can all agree that this past week has been one of the craziest EVER! We are all navigating the unique challenges that have come up from the Coronavirus and, on top of that, Smoot, the kids and I just moved into a new house! That’s right, this past weekend, just as the spring antique show was cancelled, we were moving 20 years of stuff along with two businesses that we run in a home office, into a new house. It has definitely been overwhelming, but I’m choosing to focus on bringing balance into my life and my family’s life in the midst of all this chaos.

The Eisley Cottage is one of the two Cozy Cottages we added to our property about a year ago. This cottage is named after our sweet and youngest daughter, Eisley. Our kids have been a part of this journey since the beginning, so we wanted to create spaces that reflected who they are. Not to mention, they love getting to stay in their very own space when we take a weekend trip to Round Top.

It’s no secret that Smoot and I love designing with white paint. While white can seem like a no-brainer, there are actually hundreds of paint shades available--each with its own subtle variation in undertone.
