This Father’s Day, I’m reminiscing on the traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. I consider myself blessed to have had the absolute best father in the world. Growing up, it was always special to be able to use my creativity to make a gift by hand for him. I think I can speak for my father and certainly for Smoot in saying that there’s no better present than one that’s made from love and thoughtfulness. Whether that looks like handmade notes or intentionally carving out time together, I always love seeing our children spoil Smoot in their own special ways each year.

A relaxing weekend in the country always feels like the perfect escape. My cares tend to melt away as soon as I hit Highway 237 and I can breathe a sigh of relief as I pull up to the cottages. A lovely group of ladies got to experience something similar a few weeks ago at a Yamuna Body Rolling retreat hosted by Michelle Gregovic and Dianne Glass.
