Eight years ago, we decided to fully commit to Living with Intention and purchase the property that would become The Vintage Round Top. At the time, our priorities were twofold. We wanted to give our family a weekend retreat to enjoy the slower pace and simpler pleasures of country living, and we wanted to embark on a project that would allow us to fully stretch our creative muscles.

Continuing on our Boho collaboration series, today we’re featuring Jon Dahl of Jonathon Dahl Woodworks. Jon is a dear friend of ours and we knew he would be the perfect person to create the sophisticated cabinetry we had in mind for our Boho cottage. Our goal was not just to add cabinets to the space, but rather make them appear as furniture, seamlessly integrated into each room. The detail and intricacy of his work is remarkable, and we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with him.

On a beautiful spring day earlier last month, we gathered together with a wonderful group of creative collaborators to shoot lifestyle scenes in the cottages. In addition to highlighting our collaboration team's talents, we also wanted to depict the flexibility of the property and the various ways it can be used for both small and large groups alike.

Today we're sharing our collaboration with Forrest Middleton, a mastermind potter, tile maker and educator who lives in Petaluma, California. We worked with Forrest to find the most beautiful, unique tile for our bathrooms in the Boho cottage. We originally found Forrest's work through Cle Tile, and now Forrest has begun to sell directly through his website.
